Bugs took on the shady world of organized crime on more than one occasion and proved he could hold his own among the best of them. Bugs and Mugsy in various forms represented the stereotypical gangsters of the day, and every time Bugs had a run in with them, he was forced to take the law into his own hands.

A dwarf gangster named Babyface Finster loses his ill-gotten gains down Bugs Bunny's rabbit hole, forcing him to don the disguise of an orphan baby to get it back. Bugs makes every attempt to care for the baby, but is met with frustration at every turn. Things all make sense when he realizes the baby is no baby at all.
Trivia
- Broadcast versions cut the part where Bugs, having learned Finster's identity, shakes him violently after catching him trying to get the purse full of money atop the bookshelf. Censors feared kids might shake their siblings causing Shaken Baby Syndrome.

Trivia
- After an explosion that partly disintegrated his clothing, Rocky dives out the window, and is bare-bottomed. However in the next scene, the seat of his pants is intact.
- When Bugs is helping Rocky get dressed the gangster says "hand me my shirt." However, Bugs gives him his jacket as Rocky is already wearing a shirt.
- The character of Rocky is a parody of Edward G. Robinson and Hugo is a parody of Peter Lorre.
