Some things are unique. Some things have no equal, no category, and no label. Sometimes these things are failed experiments, other times heralded successes. What follows are some examples of when the creators deviated from the path, left the beaten trail, and tossed the formula out the window.

A flea is looking for a meal. The flea attacks Elmer's dog. As the dog begins to scratch, Elmer warns him to cease, or else face getting a bath. When the dog can't help himself, Elmer drags him off to the bath.

Featuring Marc Anthony and Pussyfoot

Bulldog Marc Anthony is a guard at a construction site. He finds a kitten, Pussyfoot, to whom he affectionately gives a wiener for lunch. A hungry, grown cat sees the wiener and tries to take it from Pussyfoot. So, in defense of his kitten friend, Marc Anthony fights the cat on the steal beams of the partly constructed skeleton of a building.
