Pepe Le Pew

Where would our cast of characters be without its leading man? Pepe like many other leading men, thinks he way more attractive than he is. He also believes his affections and advances are returned in kind. He couldn't be more wrong. Sadly his efforts are almost universally rejected, but don’t feel bad for him; like many self-styled lady-killers, he either doesn't notice, or doesn't let it deter him. His eyes are blind to the reality before him, and so we only see the true romantic that he is, as he relentless pursues the object of his affections. He serves as inspiration to all would be romantics, and from him we learn that in matters of the heart, we should never give up.

Heaven Scent 6.1
1956 directed by Chuck Jones
Featuring Pepe Le Pew

On the French Riviera, a female cat is frightened by sudden outbursts of barking by every dog around her. So, to scare them away, she paints her back with a white stripe like that of a skunk. The dogs, on seeing her stripe, run away and hide in fright. But she doesn't receive the peace she'd expected, because Pepe Le Pew, the amorous French skunk, sees her, thinks she's a girl skunk, and tries to make love to her.
